One can often keep nymphs on the matrix in which they were found (grass, etc.) and provide a moist environment (drop of water on a piece of paper towel) and keep them overnight in a small jar or test tube with cotton plug. This looks like a 6th instar. Quite often, you have an adult the next morning!

 
I finally have an adult
This one certainly is a fan of Cheerios as it spent a week and half moving, feeding and cleaning on a single Cheerio before moving to the cedar.
