Bagworm - Dahlica triquetrella

Bagworm - Dahlica triquetrella
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
April 18, 2007
Size: Case ~ 6 mm
An unexpected find for me. I mistook it for the household casebearer until I came across this species. I found two specimens and rechecked them today to find two strange-looking larval exuviae, not unlike what Jim found for his Dromaeolus larvae. The larval bags are "sealed", so I hope that they have pupated.
