Lampyrid Larva - Lucidota atra

Lampyrid Larva - Lucidota atra
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
April 18, 2007
Size: 12 mm
Found in rotten wood. I'm suspecting that this may be an Ell*ychnia larva, since this is the most abundant firefly in this area (well, actually, it's the only species I've seen here so far).
