This is a species of the genus/subgenus Sigmoria (Falloria), Three species are known from central Tennessee, and at home now, I don't recall which one is in this area of Wilson Co., possibly S. (F.) mimetica Chamberlin. The color in the transverse band or stripe along the caudal margin of each segment is usually stronger and more bluish. Thanks!
Thanks for the ID help. I frequent the area where this was found so perhaps I will get a shot of one that is more typical.

I'm assuming you're not suffering from any type of multiple personality disorder- are you quoting someone in your self-referential comment, or is this not your image?

If you're trying to preserve a comment after deleting the image to repost it, may I suggest that you move images in the future by clicking Tag on the page for the image, going to the place where you want to move the image, clicking on the Images tab, then clicking on Move Tagged Images to move it. What a gorgeous image! ????
I (Daniel) did not write the comment about the quality of the image. It is my photo but I am not so impressed with it that I would praise it. I don't know how that got there. I promise. I wish that whoever put it there would fess up and explain how it ended up there.

No problem
Reading my comment above, I realize it comes across as critical, even sarcastic- that wasn't my intent. I didn't think for a moment that you did that on purpose- it was obviously the result of some innocent mistake. Having heard from you, I would guess that some editor clicked Edit instead of Add Comment and didn't realize their mistake until after they clicked Submit (if at all).

Is your text telling us how
beautiful your image is?! or are you implying that this is not your image?

What a gorgeous image! I can't help with ID but I had to commen
I did not write the line but I did remove it from the remarks field. I have no idea how it was placed there. It is a little embarrassing.

Sorry, Daniel
one of the editors must have gotten so excited by the image that they put their remark in the wrong place. Glad we have it straightend out. It certainly was confusing where it was! And you should know that it is a beautiful image. Dr Shelley visits frequently and identifies the millipedes, so it should have a name soon. Once again, sorry for the confusion and thank you for posting such a beautiful image.

definitly in the order
definitely in the order Polydesmida. Possibly genus: Sigmoria.
