Maybe somewhat resembles Xestia okakensis as depicted here? This is not at all an id, but just a guess.

Edit. Sorry A. Hendrickson, I had the comment box open so long I didn't realize someone else had already commented in the meantime. Looking at your suggestion I think yours is a lot better than my guess.

Honestly, I have no idea, and yours looks quite worn. But came across this recent post and came back to yours. I "think" they might resemble each other, but this is not an ID.

At least they have been seen in Canada.
