Mystery Roach Bug - Lethocerus medius

Size: 2-3 inches
I found this crawling along the sidewalk around 7:45 AM. I thought it was a type of roach but I honestly couldn't tell. I was walking to school so I could not stay behind to examine it. The insect is more thinner than what the photo shows
