The Scribbler - Cladara atroliturata

The Scribbler - Cladara atroliturata
Framingham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
April 22, 2007
This moth landed on the ground near some lights and then got onto my shoe - stayed there for at least ten minutes as I walked around.

I think it is "The Scribbler" Cladara atroliturata, hope someone can confirm.

Nice Scribbler
... one that has yellowed with age, although it does not appear to be the least worn. Some moths do not retain natural greenness for long.
