Naples, Collier County, Florida, USA
March 4, 2015
Size: 1.5 mm
This 6-eyed spider had yet another arrangement of eyes. It had a beautiful brown pattern on its cephalothorax and abdomen. Even its palps had brown markings. The spider was found in leaf litter beneath a sand live oak (Quercus geminata) in a sandy scrub. It was removed from the litter with a Berlese funnel.
