Size: 6.5mm
Found in a pit trap I have set in the middle of a pile of leaves. Has a pale rim around the outside of the elytra.

Thanks v I was way off course.
I think this might be Agonum limbatum. The Elytra have punctures around the outer edge and down the second stria which can be seen well in the BOLD pictures and at the Spencer collection at UBC dorsal pic.

Woud be new for the guide.

Pronotum wrong for Bembidion
Perhaps Subtribe Stenolophina is a better bet
