Range Error for A. testacea?
The info page for A. testacea under "Range" says "... + MA (BG data)" which I am guessing is an error introduced by this record.

Fixed
That inclusion of MA had to be from this submission.

Atomaria fuscata (Schönherr) --det. C. Johnson
Moved from Atomaria testacea.

Moved
Moved from Atomaria distincta.
I received an email from Christopher Majka with this correction on the species.

Tom,
unless i'm missing something, this might be the first US record outside California [see(1)]... did Chris suggest something to that effect?

Chris identified it as Atomaria distincta Casey
and the pdf from ZooKeys lists that species in the northeast. But I see on the info page that A. distincta is a synonym of A. testacea.

'pdf from ZooKeys'
i'm lost... could you please cite that source (author[s], year)?
and on which info page A. distincta is listed as a synonym of A. testacea?

No synonym
I don't know how this got to the testacea page. It was identified as distincta.
The pdf I referred to was from the link you gave, I clicked on the full text and worked down to this page.

Edit: I just found the email where Chris changed his mind on the determination and called this A. testacea. I'll forward the email to you.

Identified to species by:
Christopher Majka - Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Atomaria
Yes. It look like an Atomaria sp. to me.
