Not Syrphusa opinator because
Not Syrphus opinator because the yellow markings on tergite 2 do not overlap edge of tergite. Syrphus opinator does not have the anterior margin of yellow margins wavy and never has a black " T " shape on the frons which is often seen in Eupeodes.
The thorax is not pruinose as in Syrphus opinator.
This is Eupeodes.
