I think you are right. Paulson doesn't show it that far North in FL, but he makes a comment that it may be spreading further North.

Scarlet skimmer
A friend shot one in Bradenton FL last week. The range map would appear to end around there or St. Petersburg. I'll see if I can get him to post it.
