Northeastern Sawyer - Monochamus notatus
Miramichi, Northumberland County, New Brunswick, Canada
September 1, 2004
Size: 20-22 mm
Found in parking lot of highway restaurant surrounded by mostly coniferous forest. Looks like Monochamus notatus (1, 2, 3).
I think that Bruce's recent image might also be this species.
