Grape Berry Moth - Paralobesia viteana

Grape Berry Moth - Paralobesia viteana
n.w. Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
March 23, 2015
Size: FW 5.5mm
Two individuals showed up at my porchlight on this night, a first record for my yard. I'm ruling out the similar P. liriodendrana based on published ranges (liriodendrana on MPG vs. viteana) and potential host plants. Grapes are abundant in my neighborhood but there is no tulip-tree anywhere close and only a few very scattered magnolia's (another reported host of liriodendrana).
