Taking a chance
and moving my photos of this specimen to species based on comments by A. Hendrickson and Nancy Dowd, and review of MPG plates. Hopefully an expert will review and confirm.

Note, review of the new
book "Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Southeastern North America", by Leckie and Beadle, p. 302, indicates this specimen is a match for Chloropteyx paularia.

Seth, definitely an emerald, but I have had the S. frondaria and it is usually delicate looking. Just scrolling throught the MPG plates I might suggest you consider Hodges #7077 – Chloropteryx paularia. It would be a good find if I am right. I think the lines look right on the Aaron Cavosie specimen, but I am NO expert so I cannot even give you a Genus.
Sorry, I did not see Nancy's comment so at least we both came to independent conclusions.
