Eupithecia matheri?
How was this identified?
E. herefordaria
is know only from Cochise Co., AZ.
(

)
Please ask Tomas Mustelin to recheck.
Tony Thomas noticed that that all the data point on the MPG map, except for AZ, probably refer to
E. matheri
.
Edit: I just read Rindge (1985)
(
2
)
and I see that
matheri
is the name for the eastern species which had been misidentified as
herefordaria
.
