Stink Bug - Thyanta pallidovirens

Stink Bug - Thyanta pallidovirens
Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, California, USA
April 3, 2015
I assume the white bit is a mite of sorts? What mites cling onto these sorts of bugs?

I'm not entirely sure where to put this, I think I know genus but never seen it before so I'll leave it here for now.

Moved
Moved from subgenus Thyanta.

Tachinid egg
Most likely a tachinid egg.
Known tachinid parasite of Thyanta: Trichopoda pennipes.
