Tetrix sp. - Tetrix arenosa

Tetrix sp. - Tetrix arenosa
Brookside Gardens, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA

I’m not sure if this is Tetrix arenosa or Tetrix ornata and didn’t get a photo of the face. Is it still possible to get a species ID for this individual or is it stuck at the genus? Thanks in advance

Tetrix arenosa is nearly flat on the top side,
while T. ornata tends to have much more of a raised "keel" along the back, and the front part of the pronotum tends to be more roof-like. T. ornata is usually broader/bulkier in build as well. In T. arenosa the front of the fastigium is often almost a straight line from the front of one eye to the front of the other (when seen from above), and doesn't stick out much in front of the eyes. In T. ornata it tends to be more curved and stick out forward a bit more. And these shots are fine for separating this particular pair. Others pairs of similar species need to be seen from other views to separate them, often including the face.
