Identification
According to Heppner's 1985 revision(1), "The very broad base of the forewing dorsal margin crescent, with the slender distal point, is characteristic of the species."
Range
Southern Georgia and Florida.
Food
The larva is a seed borer in shortbristle horned beaksedge, Rhynchospora corniculata (Cyperaceae).
