Phidippus tyrrelli
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
September 13, 1999
Size: BL ` 12.3
This darkish jumping spider in on a lichen rock. Elevation about 6400'. Any help with its ID is greatly appreciated.

This appears to be an adult female P. tyrrelli. It certainly looks to be in the insignarius group, but this isn't P. insignarius. P. tyrrelli is found in the Rockies at higher elevations. Boulder County is listed in the Revision for a locality of this species.
