Found in school basement

Found in school basement
Lavina, Golden Valley County, Montana, USA
April 9, 2015
Size: 1 cm long
We found this insect in our school basement. Is it a bristletail? We'd like to do some more research on what it eats and where it normally lives.

Moved from ID Request.

It normally lives in your basement :)
It's a Silverfish.
