Size: BL ~9.5
Lateral view. It seems to have a thin red plate between the two body parts. It doesn't look like a mite.

. This photo might be of more value in Mantispidae. There aren't many pics of larvae on hosts.

Mantispidae larva on Phidippus Jumping Spider
Hi Jeff,
I hated to take the lateral view out of the series here since it is the only lateral view I have.
Instead, I photoshopped the image, eliminating much of the abdomen and legs and so slightly enlarging the larva. What I am thinking is posting this new image to Mantispidae and referring in my remarks to the original photos of the whole spider.
Does this sound okay to you?
