Moved

Trichotichnus fulgens
short parascutellar striae rule out herbivagus, and the dorsal surface also appears too shiny for that species.
Moved from Harpalus herbivagus.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Ground Beetles.

Harpalus herbivagus
is best fit for your set of images. I would have been more confident had you cited body length (in millimeters).

Just measured,
was about 6.5mm (soaked in alcohol for a few days).

ABL "6.5 mm" alone rules out much larger H. herbivagus
had I paid more attention. I agree with Curt's update to T. fulgens. I inserted "6.5 mm" into the data.
