Size: large praying mantis size
Spotted at far edge of low weed bed in cove of Discovery Lake, while watching Springtime darners ovipositing in same weed edges. It was the size of a large praying mantis but with much longer legs, reminding me of a walking stick. Friend Eric Isley tells me it looks like a Water scorpion. Could this be Ranatra?
