predatory fly

predatory fly
in a rural area north of Bow, Skagit County, Washington, USA
April 12, 2015
This photo shows wing veins. Is it possible that this fly is in the Sciomyzidae family of snail killing flies? If so, it would be a popular creature in our neighborhood which is slug heaven.
