Size: ~1.5cm
Found in sandy Burton Mesa chaparral habitat. ID determined by Frank Kurczewski and confirmed by the curator at the Pompilidae Center at Utah State. Wasp photographed in digging burrow for paralyzed staged ~1ft away

I'm sure I've seen both spider and wasp before!
You've done great to get them both ID'd to species. Being a pseudo-neighbor of yours (Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz Counties) I've been a fan of your work! Looking forward to more photos!

Ah, I spoke to soon. It appears the species level of the spider is still under consideration!
