Mason Bee Encounter - Lithurgopsis - Female
Tonopah Desert, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA

Size: 12mm
These bees are in a Prickly Pear Cactus, Opuntia Engelmannii. The extra images show her from several angles. The male dropped in to check her, for a split second and then she went back to her work.
Can anyone please tell me if the necks are supposed to be green or does the color come from the flower?
