Flotsam harvesting

Flotsam harvesting
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 20, 2007
I stored the two five-gallon buckets full of flotsam indoors, covered with part of a sheer curtain panel held with large rubber bands to prevent escape. In addition, I ran some water in my tub to make a moat. I moved a floor lamp next to the bathtub for my first few sessions of collecting, sucking climbers up as fast as they appeared on the bucket rim. I stored the collectees in the refrigerator till I could shoot them.
