Found sitting on the wood of a beaver dam within the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve.

R4+5 vein strongly looped....
R4+5 vein strongly looped..... Eristalini.
Face not obviously dusted with a facial stripe and orange tarsi on the hind leg....... Eristalis flavipes.
