Moved from Syrphid Flies.

Indeed! Ken's got it, as usual.

Just wondering, Kelsey...
Do you use the "recent images" link to view new syrphid submissions? I ask because I recently moved an image from ID Request to Allograpta on the assumption that you'd see it and take the ID further. Since you haven't commented, I'm wondering if I should have dropped it at the family level instead.

What's your preference? I'd like to make things as easy for you as possible. :)

*laughs* Thanks! I have a bookmark to look at the family page, so that's usually what I see; if you think 'recent images' makes sense, then I could also switch my viewing behavior (esp. useful when someone submits something to genus and I didn't realize). So... your call, I guess, just let me know? It's quite easy to switch my bookmark :^)

And, of course, I was referring to the recent images link on the Syrphidae page, not the "Recent" tab (which would force you to plow through a lot more images to get to what you're looking for).

Indeed! I'm going to go ahead and change it - thanks for the nudge! I figured that's the link you meant, otherwise... nope :^)

Eumerus, perhaps?
