moth on cryptantha - Neoheliodines vernius
Pinnacle Peak Park, Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
April 8, 2015
Size: 2cm?
At first I thought this was a beetle, but apparently it's a moth. I've narrowed it down to the Heliodinidae family, but is it Embola ionis or Neoheliodines vernius (or something else)? (EDIT: The folks say it's Neoheliodines vernius.)

Moved from ID Request.

Does look to us like vernius

Maybe Terry Harrison will confirm one way or the other
