Anthidium manicatum? - Anthidium manicatum - Female
Soquel, Santa Cruz County, California, USA
September 27, 2012
Size: 7mm
My neighbor Randall Morgan has collected a staggering number of pollinators (I read a newspaper article that said over 80,000 specimen) He currently takes them to be interred at the UCSC. Yesterday he gave me a small-headed fly so I could take photos of it. It came with this bee in the same box, so I thought I may as well photograph it too.
