Range
Eastern North America from southern New England westward to southern Wisconsin and Minnesota, south to northern Georgia and Tennessee.
Habitat
In the Upper Midwest this species is typically found in dry-mesic to dry deciduous (oak-walnut-hickory) woodlands.
Season
Adults fly September through April; activity is sporadic during winter months at more northerly latitudes.
Life Cycle
One generation per year. Overwinters as an adult.
