Moth - Baileya

Moth - Baileya
Searcy County, Arkansas, USA
April 28, 2007
Size: 2.5cm
Attracted to porch light.

Probably 8973 - Small Baileya Moth - Baileya australis
...but difficult to be certain due to wear of or sheen over forewing markings. Baileya sp. might be the best designation.

Thank you
Between the wear and my flash, I don't think this image is going to help anyone else with an ID, but since there were no Baileya shown for Arkansas, I moved it to the Baileya page in the Guide. If an editor thinks it should be frassed instead, that's okay with me.

You may be right based on siz
You may be right based on size, I missed that when I gave my ID. The wear makes it very difficult to tell, but I don't know of any C. catalpae that are that small.
