Comment per Alan Burke:

this resembles either Cymatodera tuta Wolcott, or C. tutoides Barr. The only difference among them is that females of the latter species have a subapical ridge on the fifth ventrite, whereas females of the former lack this ridge. Males are pretty much identical, although I've observed that both sexes of C. tuta are slightly larger that those of C. tutoides. Furthermore, both species are found in Texas.
