Size: 10 cm approx.
In the Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Park, in the Dripping Springs area where the vegetation is diverse. It was on a dead plant stem, perhaps with the intension of pupating. The closest living plant was a thistle, but oaks and many other plants were nearby.
