Fly or Hemipteran? -
Saldoida slossonae
Coastal Plain- North Carolina, North Carolina, USA
April 27, 2015
Size: 3-4mm
Weird looking insect. Can't see any halteres but only has 2 wings. Long mouthpart. What is this? It was captured in a pitfall trap.

Hmmm
I can't find an exact match, but these antennae look similar, head is different though... Definitely Hemiptera, but perhaps the shore bugs are closer.
