HOLY Pollinator! - Copestylum mexicanum - male

HOLY Pollinator! - Copestylum mexicanum - Male
Graham, Texas - on our property four miles from town., Young County County, Texas, USA
April 29, 2015
Size: almost an inch...
reminded me of a large horsefly - do horseflies like pollen? Also, he wasn't aggressive, allowed me to get quite close, but he was busy doing his business ...very striking obvious because of size.
