Argentine ants herding aphid species Chaitophorus nigrae

Size: < 1-mm each.
I doubt that these are leaf aphid nymphs. What are they?

On what plant?
Chaitophorus feed on willow and cottonwood/poplar.

These appear to be on a grass stem which suggests that Ken W.'s Sipha is a more likely ID.
