Even with your exceptional photography Joyce, you will prob still need a shot of the underside (specifically the terminal segments of the abddomen) and the elytral apices to get a species-level name. Unless Brady or someone has a keen understanding of the local fauna.

Thanks Blaine. Unfortunately I accidentally tossed this beetle -- by mistake. Hopefully I'll find another one some day. It's good to have a genus at least.
