Why have these guys disappeared?
I have a question. For years, we have had pipevine swallowtails lay eggs on our pipevine and have had tons of caterpillars that would eat it to the ground. All of a sudden, last year they stopped coming. we did not see a single caterpillar and have not seen one this year either. Does anyone know what might have caused them to stop coming. I would love to know how I could possibly get them to come back, as we really enjoy having them around. We live in New Braunfels, Texas. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated!
