Yellow Dragonfly - Libellula quadrimaculata
Winthrop, Okanogan County, Washington, USA
June 7, 2013
Size: Wingspan: 3 inches
This dragonfly was in the middle of a Ponderosa pine forest and had bicolored eyes - top half brown and bottom half green. It had a black stripe near the tip of the tail, running lengthwise and black markings toward the base of the hind wings.
