Marcia, I haven't commented because I knew you wanted an expert, but today I was struck by the resemblance to Asaphocrita aphidiella. Patterning not exactly the same but must be in the same Genus somehow. The spread pages of MPG did not help and I don't do Bold well, so I don't know if there any other species.

Ann, I appreciate your comments! I, too, had seen that species. However, I understand that there are some problems with the Blastobasidae and the family is being revised by David Adamski. Hopefully, we will have a better understanding of the family at some point, but it doesn't hurt to post an image and file it away among the other family members without a permanent home, for the time being.
