Giant Lady Beetle - Fifteen-spotted or Eye-spotted? - Anatis labiculata

Giant Lady Beetle - Fifteen-spotted or Eye-spotted? - Anatis labiculata
Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, USA
May 3, 2015
Size: 9 - 10 mm
My first thought was A. labiculata due to its shape and it is commonly seen here compared to A. mali, which has yet to be observed here.
There appears to be faint rings around the spots on this specimen...

Moved from Giant Lady Beetles.

The rings are present in both species
Although A. mali is perfectly in range for Michigan and I doubt it is rare...
