MacCulloch's forester moth caterpillar - Androloma maccullochii

MacCulloch's forester moth caterpillar - Androloma maccullochii
Memaloose Lake Trailhead, Clackamas County, Oregon, USA
September 9, 2012
Yellow and black caterpillar with white hairs, feeding on some fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium, a.k.a. Chamerion angustifolium) in early September. A Google image search brought me to BugGuide, where I learned that it's most likely the larva of a "MacCulloch's forester moth."

Yes,
Nice find!
