Small Fly or Moth - Bombylius major

Small Fly or Moth - Bombylius major
Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 2, 2015
Size: about 1cm
I happened to be taking photos of bluets (Houstonia) and this small insect appeared. I was thinking it was something related to the sphinx moths but after a little searching, I think it might be a bee fly (Bombyliidae). Is there enough in this photograph to be able to tell? Unfortunately this was the best photograph I was able to get.
