Retarded Dagger Moth - Acronicta retardata

Retarded Dagger Moth - Acronicta retardata
Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, USA
May 6, 2015
2 different individuals showed up on consecutive evenings. Both measured 14mm TL. I may be wrong, but could they both be #9251 Acronicta retardata - Retarded Dagger Moth?

Thanks!

.
I agree with you . The only one I could find with a strong double AM line and those little black markings just above the AM line behind the head. I'm no expert, so species confirmation is necessary to move.

However, you say you have posted two different specimens on the same ID Request. You need to delete the second one, submit a separate ID request for it and link the two with referals to the Photo #'s

Thanks
to Chrissy McClarren, Ken Childs and Hugh McGuinness who confirm the ID on this one as Acronicta retardata.

O.K. will do.
and Thanks Ann!
