Bombus morrisoni or Bombus nevadensis? - Bombus nevadensis - Female
Pullman, WA, Whitman County, Washington, USA
May 9, 2015
Size: a little more than 1"
This was a huge bumble bee, I suspect, a queen. It was feeding on Penstemon and Golden Chain flowers. I observed it early in the afternoon.
