Geometrid Larva - Macaria

Geometrid Larva - Macaria
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
June 14, 2004
another small one

Here's yet another possibility
6344 Macaria (Semiothisa) signaria Kimmo. We think it is safe to conclude that this is one of the Semiothisa that have been moved to Macaria, but don't know if we will ever know exactly which one without knowing what it was eating.

I saw another like this
one. It was on a Pine of some sort.

Bicolored Angle (Macaria bicolorata)

Hemlock Angle (Semiothisa fissinotata)
This one looks like the Hemlock Angle from Caterpillars of Eastern Forests.
