Cartodere (Aridius) bifasciata (Reitter)
Aridius is now a subgenus of Cartodere so the correct name of this species is Cartodere (Aridius) bifasciata (Reitter). I strongly recommend that you write up this discovery as a short note and publish it, as this would only be the second record of this species in North America. We recently reported this species on the continent from a record in Nova Scotia in Majka et al. (2009). A good find!
